Pro-Mix BX Biofungicide + Mycorrhizae is a general-purpose growing medium that is great for a wide variety of plants as well as for transplanting applications. It provides the protection of a high-quality biofungicide while offering the growth enhancement properties of 100% contaminant-free mycorrhizae.
Can I use PRO-MIX BX to start seeds?
I have been using Pro Mix BX along with C tea and Super Thrive for several weeks now and I really like it much better than the original mix I used. I’ve also been soaking my seeds in Super Thrive for about 20 to 30 minutes before I sow them and all have germinated several days sooner than expected.

How do you wet Pro-Mix?
I usually put some Pro-mix into a big tub and pour some water on it, stir it up and by the time I’ve selected my pots, placed newspaper squares in the bottom and labelled them, it’s good to go. However, if it’s particularly dry, I use boiling water which moistens it instantly.
